10 Wellness Gifts to Gift Yourself this Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is a great day to feel appreciated and loved by your family. And while you love the handmade gifts your kids present each Mother’s Day morning, you deserve something good. Like, make-you-life easier-and-healthier good. Mother’s Day wellness gifts from others can disappoint or be kind of offensive, but since you’re gifting yourself, there’s no passive-aggressiveness or ulterior motive. Here are some of the best wellness gifts I’ve gifted myself that you may like to give yourself too.

A Yoga App Subscription

I was never a fan of yoga until I started getting older (or had my second kid – or both), and my body started to get tighter. I don’t go to yoga classes, and I don’t need to with the Down Dog App. It gives you great customization options like background music, type of practice, and how long of a session you want. You can choose 4-60 minutes for your practice, ensuring you’ll be able to get your session done in the amount of time you have.

Artful Agenda

This may be one of my favorite Mother’s Day gifts. I love this digital planner. It looks and “feels” like a traditional planner, but you’ll always have it because it’s on your phone. You can customize it with changeable backgrounds, add stickers, and color-code different activities. Use it on your computer, phone, and iPad, and it even syncs to your other calendars like Outlook and Google. It’s functional and cute – a great gift for moms. I have a referral code (RK320537) if you make a purchase because you found out about it from this post. Regardless, I’ve used this planner for going on three years now, and I know you will love it!

A Good Water Bottle

You can never have too many cups, though my husband would disagree. ? I love this bottle from Iron Flask because it’s affordable, cute, and keeps my water ice cold for a loooong time. I used to carry around a 1/2 gallon water bottle, and it’s just not practical for me anymore. I just know to fill this one 3 times a day, and I’m good to go!

Delicious Almond Butter

I found this almond butter at Target, and it’s so good. I have it for breakfast on toast 75% of the time. It has a smooth texture, you don’t need to stir it much, and it’s a nice break from peanut butter.

Audible

Hear me out on this wellness gift. It will be a couple of years before I get to read more than a few pages in a book before passing out in complete exhaustion (I have a 1-year-old and an 8-year-old). I am also on the road for at least 1.5 each weekday, and I get tired of podcasts after a few episodes. I love learning and reading, so I started my free Audible trial and loved it. I usually need to see/read the information I’m learning, but using Audible has been so worth it to me. If it’s a really important subject that I need to reference or physically read, like Precious Little Sleep, I also purchase the hard copy.

A Glute-Focused Workout

If growing your booty and getting stronger is on your list of goals, this is the perfect Mother’s Day wellness gift for you! I have to be honest that my consistency with working out is about as fickle as a cat’s food preferences, but I still love Booty King. I follow him on Instagram, and I have his at-home workout. He has home and gym plans focusing on growing the glutes and a workout regimen for the whole body. He also lists meal ideas and food choices. Check out the results on Instagram – insanely good!

Collagen

I drink collagen peptides to help strengthen my postpartum hair, skin, and nails. I have also found that my joints feel better and less stiff when I drink collagen. I used to use an expensive brand but found that Orgain Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides Powder is an affordable option that tastes great (because it doesn’t taste at all).

A Tinted Moisturizer with SPF

I am a makeup minimalist, so products that do double-duty work best for me. That’s why I’ve always loved BB creams and tinted moisturizers. Australian Gold Tinted SPF Face Sunscreen is my favorite because it goes on smoothly with no flaking, doesn’t clog my pores, and gives me an even color, hiding uneven skin tone. I try to apply it throughout the day and have even added regular sunscreen over it.

New Exercise Shoes

Worn-out inserts in my worn-out tennis shoes let me know what three years had been long enough between daily walking shoes. I considered a few options but went for the classic Sketchers choice. They did not disappoint, and your feet will thank you if it’s been a while since you purchased new exercise shoes.

Mother’s Day gifts don’t have to come from anyone else. You deserve to gift yourself something for all your hard work! And if you’re going to give yourself a little something, why not choose something that makes your life a little healthier and easier? What from this list are you buying, or what would you add?
